Common Claude issues and fixes
What people run into most when they add Bot-Hosting, and how to get past it.
Claude connector not showing in chat
Connectors are switched on per conversation. Click + in the message box, open Connectors and turn on Bot-Hosting. Also check that it shows Connected under Customize > Connectors, since Connect or Reconnect means sign-in did not finish.
Claude connector says Authorization with the MCP server failed
Remove the connector and add it again with the server URL pasted exactly. A URL that redirects to another host makes Claude drop the sign-in token, which causes this error. If the connector later shows Reconnect, select it and sign in again.
Can't add a custom connector on Claude Team or Enterprise
Only an Owner can add one (on Enterprise, also a custom role that manages libraries). Ask them to add Bot-Hosting in Organization settings > Connectors, then find it under Customize > Connectors with the Custom label and click Connect.
What your AI can do
Everything you do in the dashboard, asked in plain words.
Build and host your bot
It creates the deployment, writes the code, installs the packages and starts it.
Find and fix crashes
It reads the logs, explains why the bot stopped and fixes the file or the setting.
Manage the rest
Files, environment variables, packages, domains and resources, on request.
Stay in control
Secret variables stay masked, backups can be restored, and you can disconnect the AI at any time.
Try asking
Copy a request, paste it to your AI and watch it work.
Create a Discord bot that answers /ping with Pong, host it on Bot-Hosting and start it. Tell me when to add the bot token as a secret variable.
My Discord bot is offline. Read its logs, tell me why and fix it.
List my deployments with the RAM and disk each one uses.
Questions, answered.
Does Claude load every Bot-Hosting tool into every chat?
It depends on Tool access, set per chat from the + menu under Connectors. Auto, the default, lets Claude decide. Always available loads every connector up front, and On demand searches for the right tool first to save conversation space.
Can I stop Claude from deleting or restarting my bots?
Yes. In Customize, then Connectors, select Bot-Hosting and set each tool or group of tools to Always allow, Needs approval or Blocked. A blocked tool stays off while the read tools keep working.
How do I disconnect Bot-Hosting from Claude?
In Customize, then Connectors, select Bot-Hosting and choose Disconnect to sign Claude out, or pick Remove from the three-dot menu to delete it. You can also revoke Claude in Bot-Hosting under Developer, then My apps.
Is it free?
Yes. The MCP server comes with every Bot-Hosting account, free plan included. What your AI can create stays within your plan, like in the dashboard.
