How to connect ChatGPT to Bot-Hosting
Paste a URL- On chatgpt.com, open Plugins, click + and choose Add custom MCP server.
- Name it Bot-Hosting, paste the server URL under Connection and pick OAuth.
- Click I understand and want to continue, then Create as a plugin.
- Click Install plugin, then Connect, and sign in to Bot-Hosting.
- Start a new chat, type @ and pick Bot-Hosting.

ChatGPT plugin not showing in chat
After you install it, start a new conversation. Type @ in the message box and pick Bot-Hosting, or open + and choose it from the menu. ChatGPT can also pick an installed plugin on its own when your request fits it.
ChatGPT keeps asking to reconnect Bot-Hosting
Open Settings > Plugins, select Bot-Hosting, choose Reconnect and approve every permission it asks for. Make sure you sign in to the right Bot-Hosting account. If it still fails, check OpenAI's status page instead of reconnecting again and again.
ChatGPT plugin missing new Bot-Hosting tools
ChatGPT keeps the tool list it read when the plugin was created. Open the connection on the Plugins page, select Refresh, then start a new conversation. In a Business or Enterprise workspace an admin refreshes it, and new actions start disabled.

Does the Bot-Hosting plugin work on the free ChatGPT plan?
Yes. We tested it on the free plan, write actions included. In a Business workspace only admins and owners can create a custom MCP plugin, and on Enterprise or Edu an admin can let selected members create one.
Will ChatGPT ask before it changes my deployments?
ChatGPT decides when to ask for approval from the app's permissions, the action's context and its potential impact, and it can block especially risky actions. Read each confirmation before you approve a restart or a delete.
How do I disconnect Bot-Hosting from ChatGPT?
Open Settings, then Plugins, select Bot-Hosting and choose Disconnect from the connection's options menu. Uninstalling the plugin also disconnects its accounts. You can revoke ChatGPT in Bot-Hosting under Developer, then My apps.
